By educating and helping our customers choose organic products or products made from recycled materials, we are proactively joining the movement to preserve our air, water, land and health.
We Are Fun! At The Green Tee organic cotton and recycled materials does not mean sacrificing for a non-palette of color ranging from drab to bland or wearing a shirt with the charisma of a potato sack. The new generation of inks and fabrics offer all of the exciting colors and styles including hats, shirts, hoodies, polos, jackets, aprons and baby bibs.
We Are Different! In contrast to the traditional screen print shop The Green Tee uses more environmentally friendly P.V.C. and Phthalate free inks that are handled properly. We limit the amount of plastic, paper and cardboard used in packaging and shipping. You won't get shiny new packaging with hang tags and plastic wrappers from The Green Tee. In our effort to reduce, reuse and recycle we ship your orders in the boxes we received your product in and we recycle any extra packaging we can't reuse. We know you'll love your custom apparel and we won't pack it with a bunch of non-essentials that typically get discarded anyway. We use cleaning products derived from citrus, soy, corn, oats and other agricultural products as opposed to harsh chemicals and solvents.
We are Free! The Green Tee garments are free from pesticides and insecticides Conventional cotton farming practices account for 25% of the insecticides and more than 10% of the pesticides in the world today. Organic farming restores and renews the soil. It is estimated that the ‘organic exchange’ diverts 1/3 pound of chemicals from being released into the environment in contrast to a shirt printed the conventional way.
We Are Fair! By choosing to use 100% organic cotton fabric The Green Tee is contributing to the fair trade market in organic farming. This is beneficial to the farmers, their families and their communities. There are no sweatshops or unfair manufacturing or labor practices.
We Are Family! The Green Tee is a family owned and operated business located on the Seacoast of NH. Dave and Alison Mollica have three young children including daughter Caroline and sons William and Joseph. “My children greatly altered my perspective on things. It started with being concerned for their health and what they ate to discovering issues with everything they came in contact with. We realized along the way that these issues not only expose our children to certain risks, but our planet as well. This is how The Green Tee came to life. The Green Tee provides our family with more than a business opportunity, but an opportunity to become responsible citizens of the planet.
