Frequently Asked Questions
A. Organic tees are made without the use of harmful pesticides and chemical fertilizers. It is estimated that each organic shirt diverts 1/3 of a pound of synthetic fertilizers and chemicals from being used and washed into the soil of the earth. Additionally, organic cotton uses far less water to grow than conventional cotton.
Q. Will I be able to tell the difference between an organic shirt and my "regular" t-shirts?
A. We think you'll love our organic tees. They are soft, comfortable and fit great. Also, your "regular" shirt may not be as regular as you think. The typical 100% Cotton T-Shirt only contains about 72% cotton. The rest of your shirt is made up of a mixture of pesticide residues, layers of silicone and other sizing chemicals wrapped around each individual thread, formaldehyde residues from coloring and various other toxic fillers.
Q. Where are you shirts made?
A. Our shirts are made in the USA...from cotton grown in the USA! We are proud that our products come from cotton grown right here in the US and think that helps make it a truly "green" product. It is great that organic cotton is grown all over the world but we would rather spare the transportation cost to the environment to get them here.
